Garden fun

We have had a lovely time in the garden this afternoon.

Little lady has been kicking her new Pepper Pig ball around the garden and investigating the borders for flowers to smell, she makes me laugh the way she squats down to have a sniff of the flowers and also the grass and the mud!  Learning so quickly how to appreciate the garden.

Whilst we have been in the garden I have managed to get planting some flowers in the pots that I was kindly given as a birthday present, I am a bit of a disaster when it comes to flowers and plants and keeping them alive.  I have been given strict instructions by my mum to make sure I keep these watered and fed ... we shall see how long they stay in bloom.

I've shared a little picture of one our pots for you to see.

Enjoy the rest of your day and thank you for stopping by.

Big update. Big changes.

Good morning everyone,

In the interim of this post and my last, way back in 2012, I would love to fill you all in with what I've been doing.

In May 2012 I moved 80 miles east, I've started a new job (actually 2), I've become a fiancé to my best friend and the best part of all, I've been promoted to mummy back in February 2014!! This has been truly the best job and the most rewarding job, but the hardest job I've ever had!!

Although being a mummy is a great job there are days when it is tough. I am hoping to take you on my bare all roller coaster ride, with all the ups and downs.
I shall be reviewing products baby/toddler/mummy related as and when I feel the need. I believe that hearing from a real life mum can be the best way to finding the best products that really work, it sure helped me in these past few months!

I also still remain a beauty geek. I love all things beauty and hair related. Although I now see any beauty treatment a pamper, even a 20 minute bath!! I will be reviewing products that I use, here on my blog and hope that they appeal to all!

My biggest emotional hurdle at the moment is the 'mummy guilt' of leaving my little daughter to return to work. I need to get my head around the big return to the office.
I have been lucky as I have been on maternity leave for the past 14 months,  and we are very much in a routine. I am fortunate to have my mum as childcare so I know that she will be with the best. I will be sharing my honest 'tears and all' journey with you.

For now, I am looking forward to my last full week as a full time mummy.

Thank you for reading and I will be posting in the next few days!
